Radome Transmisivity Test

September 22, 2014

Avenir Aviation is finishing the setup to perform radome transmissivity testing. The new setup will be installed in the new MIA Building 704.

The setup uses robotic equipment and is able to perform all the performance standards for nose-mounted radomes per Document RTCA/DO-213. Completion is expected within 5 months.

APU Shop Almost Completed

September 5, 2014

Avenir Aviation is in the process of adding an APU shop to its capabilities.

 

The shop will incorporate state of the art test cell capable of testing the latest generation of APUs.

The system was develop with analogic as well as digital data acquisition system for redundancy purposes and to ensure that the parameters obtain during test are accurate and correct.

Avenir Aviation is currently finalizing the permitting process, and once that is completed it will be presented to the FAA authorities for their acceptance.

Relocating to MIA

September 30, 2014

Avenir Aviation is relocating its facilities to the Miami International Airport. The lease agreement was signed with the Airport Authorities.

Buildout already started and is expected to be completed within 6 months.

Avenir Aviation is purchasing brand new equipment for this facility.
